Return and Refund Policy
This page explains how refunds, cancellations, and non-returnable digital services work for Bulamu Web Hosting customers in Uganda and East Africa.
Bulamu Web Hosting provides digital products and services including shared hosting, VPS hosting, reseller hosting, business email, Google Workspace setup, domain registration, SSL, DNS support, and website-related services. Because these services are provisioned electronically, they cannot be physically returned.
Refund Eligibility

| Shared hosting, VPS hosting, and reseller hosting | Eligible for a 7-day money-back review on new service orders, provided the service has not been misused, suspended for abuse, or used in violation of our terms. |
| Business email and workspace services | Refunds may be considered before mailbox, workspace, or third-party license provisioning. Once provisioned, used billing periods are generally non-refundable. |
| Domain name registration, renewal, and transfer | Non-refundable once submitted to the registry, because domain transactions are processed through external registries and cannot usually be reversed. |
| SSL certificates, custom setup, migration, web design, and professional services | Non-refundable once issued, installed, started, delivered, or completed. If work has not started, contact billing and we will review the request. |
How to Request a Refund
- Open a support ticket from your Bulamu Web Hosting client area, or email support@webhosting.ug.
- Include your invoice number, service name, domain name where relevant, and the reason for the request.
- Submit the request within 7 days of the eligible new hosting order date.
- Our billing team will review the request and respond with the outcome or any additional information needed.
Refund Method and Timing
Approved refunds are normally returned through the original payment method where possible. For Mobile Money, card, PayPal, or other payment methods, processing times can vary depending on the payment provider. If the original payment method cannot be used, we may offer account credit where appropriate.
Cancellations and Renewals
Customers may cancel services from the client area or by contacting support. A cancellation stops future renewal billing for the cancelled service. Cancelling a service does not automatically refund prior paid periods unless the request qualifies under this policy.
Abuse, Policy Violations, and Suspended Services
Services suspended or terminated for spam, abuse, fraud, prohibited content, chargeback abuse, or violation of our terms are not eligible for refund.
